Seasoned Partner from Boston Consulting Group joins AWK

The management and IT consulting company AWK Group has achieved a major coup. Tom Milon, who has been with Boston Consulting Group for 10 years, is relocating from Philadelphia to Lausanne to become a partner at AWK Group's Lausanne office. AWK Group is thus confirming its ambition to continue to grow strongly in Romandie.
Alongside its international growth strategy, AWK is also continuing to expand in Romandie. There will be a substantial expansion of the Lausanne site with spacious and modern offices in the Edipresse Tower. The team led by Blaise Vonlanthen, Senior Manager in charge of Romandie, will be joined by Tom Milon, a new partner joining AWK from the Boston Consulting Group. While partner at the renowned management consulting firm, Tom Milon developed countless value creation IoT and Industry 4.0 strategies, 5G implementation programmes or long-term digital and engineering concepts along with practical roadmaps for the optimization of supply chains on a wide range of industries, including capital and consumer goods, aerospace or defense and automotive. He was also instrumental in setting up and marketing BCG's "Innovation Center for Operations" .
Before joining BCG, the French-American dual citizen worked at Alcan Global Packaging (now Amcor), Schneider Electric, HP and Michelin. He graduated with great distinction from the Pierre and Marie Curie University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree industrial engineering from PARISTECH, one of France's top "grandes écoles". He also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a major in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Tom Milon will take up his position on 17/1/2022 and will be based in Romandie.

Short Bio Thomas Milon
Thomas Milon is a management and strategy consultant with many years of experience and extensive expertise in operations, digital and large transformations. Prior to joining AWK Group as a Partner in January 2022, he spent 10 years as a Partner, Principal, Project Leader and Consultant at the prestigious business and strategy consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG). During his successful career at BCG, Thomas Milon developed IoT and Industry 4.0 strategies, 5G implementation programs, step-by-step plans for supply chain optimization, and long-term digital and engineering concepts for organizations from a wide range of industries, including capital and consumer goods, aerospace, defense and automotive. In addition, he was a key player in the development and commercialization of BCG's "Innovation Center for Operations".
Earlier in his career, the dual French-American citizen held managing positions at Alcan Global Packaging (now Amcor), Schneider Electric, HP and Michelin. A graduate of the Université Pierre & Marie Curie with a bachelor's degree "magna cum laude" in mathematics, he holds a Master of Science in Management and Industrial Engineering from PARISTECH, one of the top 5 "Grandes Ecoles" in France, and a Master of Business Administration with a major in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
