Anapaya Systems Secures 2 million USD from Mysten Labs to Establish a SCION-based Web3 Communication Infrastructure

Anapaya Systems AG, the SCION technology provider, has secured funding of 2 million USD from Mysten Labs, a US-based Web3 infrastructure technology company and the initial contributor to Sui blockchain, a first-of-its-kind Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform. This investment marks the start of an innovative partnership to build a secure, highly available and high-performance Web3 infrastructure, leveraging the SCION next-generation Internet.
The Web3 environment is built upon the premise of trustless networks and decentralized applications with numerous parties involved. The unique nature of Web3 drives its need for a highly secure and available communication fabric. Traditional industry solutions cannot provide these benefits due to their typically centralized operations or infrastructure.
SCION, the next-generation Internet architecture, emerges as the ideal solution for the Web3 communication infrastructure. Anapaya Systems and Mysten Labs, through their strategic partnership, are committed to expanding the SCION network for Sui, setting new standards for security, availability and performance in Web3 communications.
With Anapaya's SCION solutions, the Sui blockchain will benefit from highly available connectivity between all parties with SCION connectivity, especially across various network providers.
