Hostpoint launches fully modernized design for E-mail & Cloud Office

Hostpoint has completely modernized the interface of Cloud Office, its e-mail and Office solution, which now boasts a fresh design, its first-ever dark mode and state-of-the-art technology. The update improves user-friendliness while laying the foundation for future extensions.
Cloud Office, the browser-based e-mail service popular with many Hostpoint customers, has received a completely new look in the past few days. Hostpoint has comprehensively overhauled the interface of its e-mail and Office application in recent months, giving it a new, clearly structured, modern appearance. At the same time, it has also given the technical platform a fundamental upgrade to meet the demands of the future.
In addition to a visual refresh, the update also brings functional improvements: users benefit from simpler and more intuitive navigation, a redesigned help section and new settings options.
Modern design with dark mode option
With its clear structure and modern look, the new user interface delivers a pleasant and more efficient everyday user experience. Users can now choose between four design variants for the application's appearance. The selected variant is automatically saved and can be adjusted at any time.
For the first time, dark mode is also available. The contrast-optimized variants reduce eye strain in low-light conditions and improve readability on all devices.
Additional functional optimizations
The application settings have been simplified for users and optimized for faster access. The integrated help section has also been comprehensively revised.
Furthermore, the solution can now be used on a desktop or smartphone as a progressive web app (PWA) - with app icon, fullscreen view and faster access. The notification center has been modernized both visually and functionally. Important information and system messages are presented more clearly and can be managed more easily.
Future-ready - technologically and visually
While the interface mainly brings visual and structural enhancements, the entire application has been migrated in the background to the modern Kubernetes container infrastructure. The new architecture increases stability, improves scalability and creates the technological basis for future developments. At the same time, all data remains securely in Switzerland - a conscious decision in favor of digital sovereignty and Swiss data protection standards.
