Saxo Bank Donates Signed Alberto Contador Tour de France 2013 Jersey

Denmark (ots/PRNewswire)

Saxo Bank, the online trading and investment specialist, has donated a Saxo-Tinkoff Tour de France 2013 cycling jersey (signed by Alberto Contador) to Team Rynkeby, a Nordic charity cycling team.

Moreover, Saxo Bank has also asked the eight other riders on the Saxo-Tinkoff Tour de France 2013 team to each sign their original Tour de France 2013 jerseys.

All items of memorabilia will be auctioned on eBay until July 14th 2013.

Team Rynkeby cycles from Denmark to Paris every summer to raise money for children with cancer and their families via the Child Cancer Foundation: http://www.bornecancerfonden.dk. Funds raised from the auction of jerseys will also be donated to the Foundation.

Marianne Benzon Nielsen, Director, the Child Cancer Foundation, says:

"We strongly support this great initiative by Saxo Bank for the Child Cancer Foundation. I am sure many people will be interested in obtaining these jerseys from the celebrated Team Saxo-Tinkoff riders and thereby helping children with cancer and their families."

Links to the jerseys are available at http://www.saxobank.com/cycling/help-a-child

Saxocycling.com [http://www.saxocycling.com] is host to 10 short films directed by Jim Piercy and shot by photographer Fredrik Clement. Besides an introduction to the project, seven of the films focus on each rider on the team, describing their passion for cycling, taking risks and building confidence in their abilities as well as detailing life as a rider on Team Saxo-Tinkoff. The final two videos feature prominent personnel from the Team Squad, who talk about their respective roles on one of the best UCI ProTour cycling teams.

Two additional films featuring Saxo Bank's co-CEOs and founders is being added to the project after Saxo Bank secured two prizes at the 34th Annual Telly Awards. The first video of the two additional films is already available together with the original 10 award-winning saxocycling.com films.
