About the North Tarrant Express

The North Tarrant Express is a USD 2.5 billion project dedicated to improving
mobility along 13.5 miles of the IH820 and SH 121/183 (Airport Freeway) corridor
in Northeast Tarrant County. The project, scheduled to open in 2015, will
completely reconstruct and upgrade the existing highway and nearly double the
road capacity along the corridor in order to relieve congestion, improve safety
and accommodate anticipated future population growth. To find out more about the
NTE project, please visit http://www.northtarrantexpress.com.

About the LBJ Express

Described by state transportation leaders as the most comprehensive and
complex project of its type in the country, the LBJExpress project will feature
dramatic improvements to approximately 17 miles of I-35E and I-635 in Dallas
County. The project limits, which go from Luna Road to Greenville Ave along
I-635 and Loop 12 to Valwood Parkway along I-35 are part of a new choice-based
highway network. This innovative project will feature a multi-level highway
system, including several miles of depressed lanes, allowing drivers the choice
of continuing on the same number of free, general purpose lanes available today,
or bypassing congestion on new high speed managed toll lanes. When complete in
2016, the LBJ Express will reduce travel delays, provide mobility choices,
improve safety, and help reduce the carbon footprint associated with idling
traffic. To learn more and to sign up for traffic alerts and updates, please
