Increasing Number of Companies Make Successful Start with SEPA Conversion Services from Equens

Netherlands (ots/PRNewswire)

Conversion services facilitate quick and easy SEPA migration

Medium-sized companies that may find themselves under time pressure in ensuring migration of their payments to SEPA before 1 February 2014 can use the conversion services of Equens via SEPAklaar.nl [translated, 'SEPA-ready']. In this way, migration can be effected quickly and easily despite the time constraints. Equens' conversion services use existing formats and reports, which saves companies considerable time, allowing them to focus fully on mandate management and implementing the IBAN in their administration and systems. An increasing number of companies are now using the conversion services, and have successfully employed them to migrate their payments.

Equens' service Zakelijk Betalen en Ontvangen [Business Payments & Receipt] is a reliable and solid solution for companies. One of the companies that has opted for Zakelijk Betalen en Ontvangen is gymnasium chain Fit for Free. Financial Manager Vincent de Koning: "With 55 branches across the country, it was important for us to be able to migrate to SEPA as quickly and easily as possible, and Zakelijk Betalen en Ontvangen enabled us to migrate all of our branches in one go. Furthermore, we had previously had positive experiences with Equens' Directe Aanlevering [Direct Delivery], and were able to reuse the existing connection. Another important benefit for us is that the current ClieOp delivery files are converted to XML format, PAIN, via the Formaat Conversie [Format Conversion] service. After we had decided on Zakelijk Betalen en Ontvangen, we were able to request a quotation and agreement and decide on a configuration easily via the internet portal. The solution is now fully operational at our branches, and we can rightfully say we are enjoying a smooth transition to SEPA."

Equens' SEPA conversion services are also operational at EFM Onderlinge Schepenverzekering. Kees Lingeman, Head of Finance: "For us, Equens was a conscious choice. With its many years of experience in transaction processing, it has a proven track record. Furthermore, Equens offers an attractive price-functionality ratio.

Zakelijk Betalen en Ontvangen currently consists of three services that companies can purchase either individually or as a package. The first of these services, Formaat Conversie, converts the current format in the Netherlands for transfers and direct debits, ClieOp, to the new SEPA format, PAIN. Transactie Aanlevering [Transaction Delivery], the second service, enables companies to transmit transactions to one or more banks via Equens in a single file and single format via a single connection. The third service offered by Equens is Rekening- en Verwerkingsinformatie [Account & Processing Information]. This service complies with SEPA standards and is on a par with the trusted VerwInfo report. The advantage of this is that companies can continue using the same VerwInfo report they have become accustomed to for their internal processing and payments. This limits costs and simplifies migration. Now that the market-wide SEPA migration is nearing, demand for this service seems to be increasing.

Companies can subscribe to one or more of the services. Further information for interested companies is available at http://www.SEPAklaar.nl [ C:\Users\wouterm\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\H3LGJD3E\www.SEPAklaar.nl]
