Moody's Corporation Names Jennifer Elliott Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Moody's Corporation has named Jennifer
Elliott Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Elliott
will be responsible for all aspects of Moody's global human resource
activities, including recruiting, employee relations, compensation
and benefits, organizational development, and human resources
information systems.
Ms. Elliott has been with Moody's for over 10 years, first joining
the Sydney office in 1993 as an analyst in the Structured Finance
Group. In 1996, she transferred to Moody's London office, where she
was a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer responsible for rating
asset-backed commercial paper and term transactions across Europe.
Since 1999, she has been head of Moody's Australia. Ms. Elliot will
relocate to Moody's New York headquarters from the company's Sydney
office.

knowledge and broad international experience will enable her to
support the strategies of our operating units around the world with
successful human resources priorities, policies and operations," said
John Rutherfurd, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moody's
Corporation.
Prior to joining Moody's, Ms. Elliott worked as a banking and
finance lawyer at Clayton Utz, a law firm located in Sydney,
Australia. She received her BA in English Literature and LLB from the
University of Sydney and earned an MA in Southeast Asian Business
Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London
University.
