The WISekey E-Xhibition Card project analyzes the reasons and the
key components for the success of online exhibition industry, namely:
(1) how the exhibition industry is changing, (2) what adjustments
must be made due to new client preferences and needs, (3) how the
Internet can be a way to develop the exhibition industry, (4) how
Internet and the traditional via can complement each other.
"This new project with MCI events will allow WISeKey to test its
latest BlackBox CardSpace special edition on a highly demanding
industry on which access control, security and strong identification
it is of the utmost requirement", said Carlos Moreira, Founder and
Chairman of WISeKey
Roger Tondeur, MCI's President, said: "The WISeKey partnership
with MCI reflects a strategic decision to develop the use of Digital
Identification in managing congresses, meetings and events. This move
is in line with the MCI initiative to recognize safety, health and
security aspects in face to face interactions. In all major
conference hubs worldwide - such as Paris, London, Seoul, or Chicago
- profit and not-for-profit organisations from all industry sector
will require reliable and advanced personal authentication for
accessing meetings' contents, discussions, or networking
opportunities."
