Swiss Premiere - orangeclick.ch: Orange launches "PrePay subscription" on the Internet

Lausanne (ots)

orangeclick.ch - purely Internet-based mobile phone offer
On 22nd January 2005 Orange will be the first
mobile service provider to launch an offer, with orangeclick.ch, that
is exclusively available on the Internet. orangeclick.ch is a "PrePay
subscription", which combines the advantages of a PrePay account with
those of a subscription but without a contract or monthly fee.
orangeclick.ch customers can adapt their mobile phone account to
their needs at any time via the Internet. Furthermore, at 59 cents
per minute orangeclick.ch offers the most attractive standard call
tariff without subscription on the whole Swiss telephone network.
"orangeclick.ch enables you to put together an offer customised to
your requirements via the Internet and to make mobile calls at an
attractive price without a subscription. Because orangeclick.ch is
easy to use, it fits perfectly into our strategy of offering
particularly simple and useful mobile phone services" reasons Timm
Degenhardt, Vice-President Marketing & Communications about the
introduction of orangeclick.ch.
orangeclick.ch is the first mobile phone offer in Switzerland to
be only available on the Internet. In this way the advantages of
PrePay (no contract and no monthly fee) can be combined with those of
a subscription (additional services).
With orangeclick.ch you can choose your personal mobile number and
a handset online as well as activate or deactivate several additional
services (options). Up until now, these options were only available
with a subscription. They make it possible to use services such as
SMS, MMS, mobile Internet and international roaming at lower prices.
Furthermore, orangeclick.ch offers a number of functions to enable
customers to manage their account themselves: automatic configuration
of the mobile phone, recharging and control of credit, call histories
and cancellation of services, changing the SIM card code (PIN, PUK),
etc.
Payment is by credit card. The SIM card with 20 francs of credit
to get you started and the handset chosen online are delivered by
post without additional charge. Registration as a PrePay customer
will follow according to the legal requirements. orangeclick.ch
customers only pay 59 cents per minute for standard calls over the
whole Swiss telephone network.
As support for orangeclick.ch customers, a detailed online list
with the most frequently asked questions is available. orangelick.ch
customers can get additional advice on the special orangeclick.ch
hotline (0900 700 001). Calls to the orangeclick.ch hotline cost 2.50
francs per minute.
You will find more about orangeclick.ch and other Orange offers on
the Internet at: www.orangeclick.ch / www.orange.ch
