SWI plus, an app built exclusively for Swiss citizens abroad, is newly available in English as well. It's how Swiss people living outside the country remain at the pulse of their homeland.

Every day at 6 pm Swiss time, the SWI swissinfo.ch editorial team provides you with a concise briefing on the most important debates in Switzerland that day. Our journalists present the best of SWI swissinfo.ch as well as the most useful and surprising stories from all Swiss media, blogs and social media. The briefing includes an overview of the news situation in Switzerland as well as the background readers need to understand the country.

When you download the app, you can get your compact daily update on Switzerland as a push notification, if you like. SWI plus can be found in the app stores for iPhone and Android devices.

SWI plus also offers a space for Swiss people living outside the country to engage in constructive debates. Here, all the questions about their homeland that matter to them are open for discussion - and contributions are automatically translated into all ten languages that SWI swissinfo.ch offers its readers worldwide. In this way, it's possible to discuss issues with people from across the globe.

SWI plus is also a platform for networking and connection. No matter where they are in the world, users will find answers within the community.

SWI swissinfo.ch explains Switzerland to an international audience and offers in-depth multimedia reports. The international service of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG) publishes online in ten languages.
