Zurich / Versoix (ots)

Credaris AG will acquire 100% of the shares in the Swiss credit intermediary CC Crédits Conseils SA, based in Versoix. This sees Credaris expand its position as the leading Swiss credit broker.

Credaris AG announces the acquisition of 100% of the shares in the credit broker CC Crédits Conseils SA, based in French-speaking Switzerland. With its registered office in Versoix (Geneva), Crédits Conseils has been active in the credit brokerage business for 19 years and has become a major player in its local market over this period. Its two founders will remain with the company: Iohan Colarusso will become CEO, while David Jurgens will focus on customer advisory. Credaris AG was established in 2014 as part of the Comparis Group and has since developed into the largest broker of personal loans in Switzerland. In early 2022, the company's management team acquired the business, supported by Brera Partners. Following the management buy-out and the acquisitions of Milenia SA and Cashmoney Swiss AG, this is now Credaris' third acquisition of a credit broker within a year.

A leading role in sector consolidation

The combined group will employ around 100 staff at its offices in Zurich, Olten, Lausanne and Versoix and will broker around CHF 600 million of personal loans in 2023. 'Digitalisation is changing our industry and requires investments to be made. As a result, our ambition is to play a leading role in the much-needed consolidation of the fragmented credit brokerage market in Switzerland, while continuing to deliver excellent service to our customers and partners,' says Group CEO Marc Hallauer.

Close proximity to clients across Switzerland

Crédits Conseils will continue to be run as an operationally independent company by its current Managing Director Iohan Colarusso. 'I am looking forward to the fresh prospects arising from the merger with the Credaris Group. This transaction will enable us to create new opportunities for our clients and employees, and will help us keep writing Crédits Conseils' success story under new ownership,' says Colarusso.

Crédits Conseils will gradually adopt the technology set-up in place at the Credaris Group. To ensure a smooth integration, Iohan Colarusso will now report directly to Jérémie Monney, CEO of Milenia. 'The acquisition of Crédits Conseils sees us further expand our position as the leading broker of personal loans in French-speaking Switzerland,' says Monney.

'We want to offer outstanding service across Switzerland,' explains Hallauer. 'The best way for us to do this is by combining modern technologies with a local approach and proximity to our clients. We are aware that a sensitive approach to linguistic and cultural issues is crucial, especially for highly private matters such as personal loans. By joining forces with Crédits Conseils, we are laying the best possible foundations to do so. I would like to thank Iohan, David and their skilled team for their trust: I look forward to our collaboration.'
