EuroAirport and Dufry present donation cheque from Charity Water Project to Foundation for children with cancer

The latest donation cheque from the joint Charity Water Project was handed over today at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. Since the sales launch in 2018, EuroAirport and Dufry, in cooperation with the Foundation for children with cancer (“Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder”) are committed to helping critically ill children in the region. Thanks to the sale of Charity Water, the impressive sum of 347 000 EUR was raised during the period from January 2024 to June 2025. This brings the total amount of donations received by the Foundation at EuroAirport to date to 995 988 EUR.
The Foundation for children with cancer emphasises the importance of this partnership: the donations collected via the Charity Water Project are of fundamental importance to our Foundation. It enables us to provide targeted relief to children with cancer and their families in the greater Basel area - through direct financial assistance, psycho-oncological support, research projects and activities that improve quality of life during and after treatment. We would like to thank EuroAirport, Dufry and all travelers for this strong sign of solidarity."
EuroAirport also acknowledges this commitment: "We are delighted that, together with Dufry and our passengers, we are able to make a significant contribution to the Foundation for children with cancer. With the Charity Water project, EuroAirport, Dufry and all travelers are making an important contribution to supporting families in particularly difficult circumstances and enabling the Foundation's valuable work for children with cancer in the long term.
