globegarden once again named one of Switzerland's Best Workplaces(TM) in 2025

Zürich (ots)

On 15th of May, 2025, globegarden was named one of the "Best Workplaces(TM) in Switzerland" by Great Place To Work®. This recognition places the leading childcare network among Switzerland's top employers, known for its inclusive, appreciative, and development-focused workplace culture.

The award is based on an anonymous survey of over 1,000 employees and an in-depth analysis of HR and leadership practices.

This recognition is part of a remarkable track record:

  • 2021: First certification as a Great Place to Work®
  • 2022: Ranked #9 among Switzerland's Best Workplaces(TM)
  • 2023: Recognized among Europe's Best Workplaces(TM)
  • 2025: Re-certified and again named one of Switzerland's Best Workplaces(TM)

Thomas Schneider, Co-Owner and Consultant at Great Place To Work® Switzerland, comments:

"This award is especially meaningful because it's given by the employees themselves. They are the ones who best understand the workplace culture and can provide an authentic picture of the employer."

High employee satisfaction and trust

The Trust Index rose from 72 percent in 2021 to 80 percent in 2025. The following key results from the employee survey highlight the positive workplace culture at globegarden:

  • 97% said: "Employees are treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation."
  • 95% said: "Employees are treated fairly regardless of nationality or ethnic background."
  • 89% said: "A lot of responsibility is given to employees."
  • 87% said: "I feel I make a meaningful contribution here."
  • 88% said: "I'm proud of what we accomplish together."
  • 82% said: "Management recognizes that mistakes are part of learning."

Silke Stolley, Head of Safety, Violence Prevention and Child Nutrition at globegarden, says:

"At globegarden, we foster a workplace culture shaped by diversity, inclusion, and fairness. For me personally, the most meaningful confirmation is that 94% of our staff feel children are cared for with love and support - which affirms the high quality of our childcare centers."

More than a job: education, career paths and recognition

globegarden sees itself as an employer that systematically promotes the development of its early childhood professionals. Through its in-house Education Academy, the company offers multi-day trainings, team development days, and structured career paths - from trainee to regional manager. The use of the title "Teacher" reflects the professional standards and the responsibility entrusted to each team member.

Recognition is an integral part of the organizational culture. Every year, globegarden presents the globegarden Awards to honor outstanding individual and team contributions. In 2024, over 6,400 personal nominations were submitted - a new record. The monthly Appreciation Campaign, regular feedback formats, and transparent internal communication foster strong identification with the organization.

Parents confirm the quality

In the most recent parent survey with approximately 2,000 respondents:

  • 95% said they would recommend globegarden without hesitation
  • 98% praised the expertise and dedication of the educational teams
  • 94% were highly satisfied with communication
  • 92% rated the healthy, freshly prepared meals positively
  • 97% experienced a warm and positive atmosphere in their center
