manufacturer of high performance sensor and analog solutions, announces that the
company's 5-for-1 share split, resolved in the Annual General Meeting on 22 May
2014, has become effective today. Following the split, the ams share trades
under the new ISIN AT0000A18XM4 and new Swiss Security Number 24'924'656. The
ticker symbol AMS remains unchanged.
According to Austrian law, the notional value per share of no par value shares
must be at least EUR 1.00 per share. Therefore the share split was carried out
in two steps: In a first step, ams' share capital was increased to
EUR 72,947,355 through conversion of retained earnings and reserves, and in a
second step, 72'947'355 no par value bearer shares were created by means of a
5-for-1 split.
