Februar 2014 - In einer gemeinsamen Entscheidung sind der Verwaltungsrat der Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom Development) und Dr. Gerhard Niesslein, CEO, übereingekommen, das Arbeitsverhältnis von Dr. Niesslein per Ende Februar 2014 zu beenden. Der Gründer, Aufsichtsratsvorsitzende und frühere langjährige CEO von Orascom Development, Samih O. Sawiris, wird die Aufgabe als Leiter der Geschäftsführung ad-interim übernehmen. Der Verwaltungsrat dankt Dr. Niesslein für seine wertvolle Arbeit in den letzten Jahren und wünscht ihm alles Gute für die Zukunft.
