or her coffee. But leaving this world for the next was that step too
far for George Clooney, in the fifth installment of the "Nespresso -
What Else?" saga. Still spooked from his last encounter with John
Malkovich in last year's spot, George is relieved to hail a cab
outside a Nespresso boutique - until the driver turns around to name
his price! Reluctantly, George offers his just chosen favorite
Nespresso Grand Cru capsules to cab driver John Malkovich, whose
driving abilities are definitely not human.

George Clooney stars with fellow Academy Award winner John
Malkovich in the latest TV commercial in the highly successful series
that first premiered in 2006. Mr Clooney was selected by Nespresso
Club Members as the Brand Ambassador and remains hugely popular due
to his ability to project the brand with charm, elegance and
"Part of the secret to this has been a bit of making fun of me and
making fun of my persona," commented Mr. Clooney during the shoot of
the fifth commercial. "It's always been fun and I enjoy it a lot
because they're people that I've worked with for a long, long time."

Grant Heslov, the director of the latest Nespresso spot, commented
on his experience: "We've been friends for a while and I don't think
it's a secret that George has a home in Italy, a place where a big
group of friends shows up all the time. In the kitchen there is a
Nespresso machine and in the morning everyone gets up and gathers
around this machine and makes their coffee, so it's been fun to be
able to make a little film about a product that is so engrained into
the lives of this group of friends."
