Rockliffe Integrates Email Hosting Solution With Sphera's Web HostingBusiness Suite for Service Providers and Carriers

Campbell, CA and Newton, MA (ots) - Integrated Solution Speeds Time-to-Market, Reduces Costs, Increases Revenues and Improves Customer Satisfaction

Rockliffe, Inc., a leading developer of email and messaging software, and Sphera Corporation, the leading global developer of Web hosting automation and management software, today announced that Rockliffe MailSite version 5 has been fully integrated with Sphera's market-leading HostingBusiness Suite(TM), a comprehensive Web hosting automation and management solution. MailSite is an email server that can be easily installed and managed by hosting providers and site owners using Sphera's 'point & click' interface. Hosting providers and resellers are now able to quickly deploy a robust Windows-based email service, resulting in reduced administration costs, increased revenue generation opportunities and improved customer satisfaction.

Sphera's HostingBusiness Suite comprises HostingDirector(R) and ResellerDirector(TM). HostingDirector streamlines the complete hosting business cycle and delivers dramatic cost savings by automating and simplifying Web hosting operations, reducing IT overheard and support costs, and optimizing server hardware utilization. ResellerDirector enables all aspects of operations from account creation and provisioning through inventory and account management to branding, billing and ticketing.

"The integration of MailSite into Sphera's modular solution meant that we were able to reduce deployment time and management complexity," said Paul Morgan, technical director of Mitsu-W, a London-based Internet service provider that has been using MailSite and HostingDirector for eight months. "We could provision customer services more rapidly and at a lower cost. Since installation of this solution, we achieved 100% email uptime with zero maintenance."

Sphera's HostingDirector customers can offer single sign-on (SSO) account password capabilities for email and hosting by leveraging the MailSite product integration. This results in decreased administration costs while increasing revenues by offering value- added email services. Although Sphera's solution provides robust application program interfaces (API) for integrating with third- party programs, Rockliffe's MailSite is fully provisioned to help hosting providers get to market quickly with a complete Windows- based hosting solution.

"Like all service providers and carriers, Rockliffe's customers are under increasing market pressure to minimize overhead and provide new services to their clients," said John Davies, Rockliffe's president and chief executive officer. "The integration of MailSite with HostingDirector will further enable our customers to respond to this challenge by launching cost-effective, value-added services ahead of their competition."

"In today's hosting market, site owners want to make choices regarding which applications and services they use in order to gain full control over their hosting operations," said Tamar Naor, chief executive officer of Sphera. "We are excited to add Rockliffe's MailSite to our list of Sphera-enabled applications, because it allows us to offer our hosting customers a leading email solution. Our collaboration with Rockliffe is yet another example of how we work closely with strategic partners to offer our customers a broad range of market leading applications."
