"Today's announcement is great news for consumers as it means that
Parisians will now have the option of flying with a genuine low-cost
airline with a proven track record of low fares and profitability. In
the next 12 months we hope to carry in excess of one million
passengers through Paris.
"This marks the culmination of a great deal of effort to obtain
take-off and landing slots in Paris. But it is only just the
beginning and we hope to be able to fulfil our ambition to be able to
make Paris one of our major European hubs.
"It is an important principle of our short-haul low-fare business
that customers should have convenient access to our services. By
launching our services through both Orly and Charles de Gaulle, it
gives us an opportunity to provide this convenience to 10 million
Parisians, whether they live to the North or the South."
