Fraport AG Expands Activities in the European Security Services Market

Frankfurt/Main, Germany (ots)

Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport
Services Worldwide will be taking full ownership of Amsterdam-based
ICTS Europe Holding B.V. Fraport's CIVAS GmbH subsidiary of
Neu-Isenburg, Germany, took a 45-percent share in ICTS Europe at the
beginning of this year. One year later on January 1, 2002, Fraport AG
itself intends to acquire the remaining 55 percent of ICTS Europe. As
a result of this acquisition, Fraport AG will become a market leader
for aviation security services in Europe. Active in most West
European countries, ICTS is well placed to pursue further growth
opportunities in the entire area of terminal services. Through CIVAS
and ICTS, Fraport AG will be represented at 33 of the largest
airports in the European Union (EU). Plans call for merging CIVAS and
ICTS in the near future. The new company will employ about 6,000
people and have revenues of EUR 160 million.
