Vienna/Frankfurt, 13 October 2008. In the latest rating report by Feri (the renowned German fund rating company), C-QUADRAT KAG has placed third in the category of small KAGs (Austrian and German investment companies with banking licence). This ranking represents the fund companies with the highest ratio of top rated funds (that are available in Germany). The higher the share of funds with top ratings, the better the fund company is rated. "Less than two years after the launch of C-QUADRAT's sales operations in Germany, this result is especially motivating for us. Turbulent times in particular always separate the wheat from the chaff. This rating from Feri is an award for us as a KAG and a fantastic affirmation for our customers", said C-QUADRAT Board of Management member and company founder Alexander Schütz delightedly.
The total fee generating assets of C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005) as at 30 September 2008 amounted to EUR4.3 billion (30 June 2008: EUR4.5 billion after adjustment*). EUR4.1 billion of this EUR4.3 billion related to core fee generating assets. These include the core business of asset management and fund brokerage. The non-core fee generating assets accounted for around EUR0.2 billion. This also includes volumes not allocated to the core business areas.
* The sale of the dormant participation in the Vienna branch of Privatinvest Bank reduced the volume of non-core fee generating assets from EUR0.4 billion to EUR0.2 billion.
