According to contractual agreements, JJW Central & Eastern Europe Beteiligungsverwaltungs GmbH, the SPV of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber, has agreed on a deadline for the presentation of a bank guarantee to Austrian Airlines on 12 May 2008 and Austrian Airlines have set an extended and appropriate deadline until 21 May 2008. The bank guarantee was not presented within the extended deadline.
The company will take all measures necessary to safeguard its interests and will further comply with the contract. By doing so the management board will verify possibilities for a mutually agreed dissolution of the agreements which safeguards the interests of the company.
