The 51st Ordinary Meeting of Shareholders of Austrian Airlines AG of 22 May 2006 three prominent international business personalities have been elected to the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines AG: Dr. Walter Knirsch, 61, a partner in accountancy and tax consultancy company KPMG Austria GmbH, Dr. Robert Büchelhofer, 63, a long-standing member of the Board of Management of BMW AG and subsequently of Volkswagen AG, and Carl H. Michel, 43, former Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche BA and subsequently Commercial Director of British Airways. With the expiry of their mandates, Martine Dornier-Tiefenthaler, Johann Zwettler and Dr. Walter Rothensteiner retired from the Supervisory Board.
