Sales for the POLYTEC GROUP increased in the first half of 2006 by
13.2% to  EUR 282.9 million compared to EUR 249.8 million the
previous year. The positive trend in sales at group level is
primarily attributable to business development in the Automotive
Systems Division (+18.4%) and Car Styling Division (+7.9%). The
Group-EBITDA increased by 43.8% to EUR 27.7 million (2005: EUR 19.3
milion), corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 9.8% (2005: 7.7%) in
the first half of 2006. This result is again primarily attributable
to the Automotive Systems Division. Earnings per share also increased
from EUR 0.29 to EUR 0.54 despite the capital increase during the IPO
of the POLYTEC GROUP.
The number of orders received by the Automotive System Division
amounts to EUR 46.6 million in the first half of the year compared to
the same period of last year (EUR 12.3 million).
