Freiburg, 15.1.2008. Solar-Fabrik AG (ISIN: DE0006614712) has signed a solar cell supply agreement for 2008 to purchase 14 megawatt (MW) of solar cells with Gintech Energy Corporation, Taiwan. Hence, the company has accomplished to contractually secure a total volume of up to 80 megawatt (MWp) of solar cells for 2008.
Besides E-Ton, Photovoltech, Solartech and Solland, Gintech Energy is another well-known high-quality supplier which Solar-Fabrik was able to gain. The contract has an initial maturity of 1 year. However, both companies strive for a long-term cooperation.

The contract is another important milestone of our raw material supply." explains Solar-Fabrik´s CEO, Christoph Paradeis. "The securing of our supply with high-quality solar cells as well as the diversification of our supply structure is necessary to realize our planned global growth."
Due to the signed contracts as well as group capacities the total volume of secured solar cell supply for 2008 increases up to 80 MWp. Solar-Fabrik converts solar cells to high-quality solar modules. The secured raw material supply enables material growth of Solar-Fabrik AG for 2008 and for the following years. The planned production volume for 2008 is about 70 MWp - which is more than double as much as in 2007. 10 MW are planned as raw material reserve in order to ensure, that further volumes can potentially be produced in 2008.
