Finance: Successful borrowing in Euro zone

Bern (ots)

On 23 November 2012 BKW Inc. placed for the first time two registered notes with terms of 15 and 20 years and for nominal amounts of EUR 40 million and EUR 85 million, respectively. The registered notes are debentures under German law and were placed in Germany. The successful raising of credit on the German capital market secures the currency- and country-matched funding of BKW's investments in Germany and simultaneously enlarges the investor base. The issue was placed by Deutsche Bank as arranger.
