Interviews 14.10.2012 ISIN: AT0000A0JDG2 ISIN: AT0000A0PJJ0 ISIN: AT0000A0V834 Vienna, 14 October 2012 For clarification purposes in light of the market reaction following recent news reports, ALPINE Holding GmbH (the Issuer) states as follows: The Issuer received a report it had commissioned from an external consultant to assist the Issuer in its business and financial planning. The report and its potential ramifications are currently being critically examined by the Issuer. Contrary to the Issuer's prior assessments, in particular due to the evolution of certain projects the annual financial statements for the 2012 financial year would show a significant loss. The Issuer and its sole shareholder are discussing all necessary measures to be undertaken in order to restore a sound financial situation, including notably an appropriate equity layer, of the Issuer. Based on the support of its shareholder and the positive evolution of the talks with the financing banks, the Issuer is confident that it will continue to meet all of its financial obligations.
