Preliminary financial figures 2008

Einhell Germany AG announces the following:

According to the preliminary financial figures the Einhell group has 
concluded the year 2008 also with a very positive result.

Because of the difficult worldwide economic situation the turnover 
has reduced to EUR 358,5 million compared to the last year's turnover
of EUR 385,7 million.

Earnings before tax have reached EUR 18,4 million (previous year EUR 
24,6 million).

The profit margin before tax amounts to 5.1 % (6.4 % previous year).

The net income after minority's interest has reached EUR 14,2 million
compared to the previous year with EUR 16,7 million.

The profit per share according DVFA decreased from EUR 4.4 to EUR 
3.8.

In spite of the difficult framework the Einhell group has reached to 
the year end of 2008 also a good result. This confirmed the 
sustainable profitability.

Einhell group continues to show up a very solid balance sheet 
structure with an equity-ratio of around 50%. Also the net debt of 
Einhell group has been further reduced.
