Discounted Registration for Flat Information Displays 2004 Ends Friday

Time is running out to
register at a discounted rate for the display industry's oldest and
most-respected business conference: iSuppli Corp.'s Flat Information
Displays (FID) 2004.
FID 2004 will focus on the key supply-chain issues that are
reshaping the display market. The event will be comprised of tracks
that offer end-to-end coverage of key products, markets and
technologies, including LCDs, plasma displays and Organic
Light-Emitting Diodes (OLEDs).
Each track will feature presentations by iSuppli analysts and by
executives from leading display-oriented companies. The presentations
will focus on various aspects of specific display supply chains,
offering insights on areas including materials, manufacturing
equipment, components, finished systems, distribution and sales
channels, application markets, marketing and branding and end-user
trends.
Tracks at FID 2004 will include:
- Television in Transition: Digital Flat Panels Attack the Vertical
       Model.  Starting with a keynote by Jim Sanduski, vice president of
       Samsung Electronics America, this track will cover display
       technologies, enabling factors for Digital Television (DTV), brands
       and manufacturing and market drivers and sales channels.  Additional
       companies represented will include Brillian, Epson, Samsung SDI, Sony,
       Texas Instruments, and Westinghouse Digital.
     - Emerging Display Technologies: Room for Radical Innovation? Leading
       off with a presentation by Dona Flamme, general manager of Eastman
       Kodak's display business, this track will cover enabling technologies
       and applications for emerging displays, discussing areas including
       OLEDs,3D and flexible screens.
     - Large LCDs: Supply Chain Issues in a Period of Rapid Growth.  With the
       stage set by a keynote presentation by LG.Philips LCD's Bruce Berkoff,
       the track will examine various segments of the industry, from
       components, materials and equipment, through panel manufacturing and
       applications.
Attendees who register for FID 2004 on or before Friday, Oct. 1
will be charged the early-bird rate of USD $1,650. After Oct. 1, the
rate is  USD $1,850.
Now in its 21st year, the FID conference will take place on
Thursday and Friday, Nov. 18 and 19, in San Francisco at the Hotel
Nikko. In association with the conference, iSuppli will host a golf
tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
