The stock-listed medical device technology manufacturer WORLD OF 
MEDICINE achieved a 15.8% growth in sales to TE35,746 for fiscal year
2007. Its pre-tax sales yield equaled 16.5%. In October 2007, the 
Management Board projected an increase in sales of at least 10% to 
more than E34 million, and a pre-tax sales yield of at least 13.0%. 
Strategically significant product launches contributed to the 
favorable business performance. In addition, one-time earnings from 
the sale of former subsidiary, IB Laser AG, added E1.1 million before
taxes.

A pre-tax sales yield of 11% is projected for 2008, and an increase in sales of
7%. The Management Board, however, may pursue further investment in future-
oriented projects. If necessary, it will also accept a temporary reduction of
the sales yield in order to accomplish these future goals.
