The issuer/originator is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- annual result Gräfeling/München (euro adhoc) - According to preliminary figures, the Hönle Group doubled its sales revenues from EUR 54.6 million in the previous year to EUR 67.9 million in the 2010/2011 financial year. At the same time, the operating result (EBIT) jumped from EUR 5.5 million to EUR 11.3 million, and consolidated income from EUR 4.8 million to EUR 7.7 million, which translates into earnings per share of EUR 1.32 (PY: EUR 0.89). Despite two acquisitions in financial year 2010/2011, the Hönle Group´s liquid assets increased from EUR 6.7 million as at 30 September 2010 to EUR 12.9 million as at 30 September 2011. The equity capital ratio stands at 68.9 %. Hönle benefited from the general economic upswing that spread to almost all sales markets. In all, revenues in the equipment and systems segment rose from EUR 38.5 million in the previous year to EUR 50.2 million in the 2010/2011 financial year. From January 2011 onwards, revenues in the equipment and systems segment have included proceeds earned by UV Technik Speziallampen GmbH and, since July, 2011, the proceeds of Mitronic GmbH. Revenue in the adhesives segment climbed from EUR 16.1 million to EUR 17.7 million. The Dr. Hönle AG Management Board and the Supervisory Board plan to have the shareholders participate in the company´s business success and will propose to the Annual General Meeting that a dividend of EUR 0.50 per share be paid out. Outlook: Incoming orders and Hönle Group´s order portfolio are stable. A detailed forecast respecting the group´s further development cannot be provided at this time. On the one hand, the effects of the insolvency petition filed by manroland AG are still unclear and, on the other, the impact of the current debt crisis on global economic development is difficult to predict. manroland AG filed a petition to initiate insolvency proceeding on 25 November. The insolvency proceedings are to enable speedy restructuring of the company and provide manroland AG with an opportunity to make a successful new start on the basis of improved general conditions. Dr. Hönle Group will initiate all measures required within the short term in order to keep the impact of the printing machine manufacturer´s insolvency on Hönle Group´s sales and earnings development as low as possible. In addition to strictly organic growth, the acquisition of companies will continue to be important for the further development of the group structure in the future also.
