The Swiss model management The Kinship and its founders, the international top model Ronja Furrer and the former model and entrepreneur Jenny Bachmann, hold their first open Casting Call & Conversation in Zurich. On Saturday, May 25, 2024, women interested in modeling, along with their parents, friends or partners, will have the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the modeling profession and get to know the agency. There is also the opportunity to apply directly as a model for anyone who would like to take their first step into the industry.
The Kinship, the Swiss boutique model management, founded in 2020 by international top model Ronja Furrer and former model Jenny Bachmann, holds their first local casting event, which aims to discover Swiss new faces and at the same time educate about the modeling profession. The open Casting Call & Conversation will take place on May 25, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Kaisin, Talacker 35 in Zurich and acts as a platform to offer women of various ages and their relatives or friends a point of contact to find out about the modeling profession and get to know the agency personally. In addition to a moderated talk, those interested on site have the opportunity to apply directly to The Kinship. The model management is looking for women aged 15 and above, with no age limit, for the categories High Fashion, Beauty, Commercial, Curvy and Plus Size.
Above all, the two founders want to do educational work and dispel misleading clichés and false prejudices about the industry. The Kinship offers the Swiss market a contact point, as a transparent and trustworthy model management, and promote and accompany their talents internationally. Ronja and Jenny bring in their many years of personal experience, relying on a close relationship with their talents and promoting their individual strengths - a completely new type of model management. "We want to provide a solid & strong foundation for our talents, where they can grow into their full potential", state the founders.
On Saturday, May 25, for three hours, there will be the opportunity to register for the casting and to learn many personal insights from the two mentors at the official talk at 3 p.m., followed by a question and answer session. The event is open to everyone - parents, friends and of course interested talents. Nadja Zimmermann, presenter, blogger and mother, will lead the talk. Questions about the modeling profession, the industry and personal experiences are answered by the owners Ronja and Jenny.
There will also be a renowned international photographer on site who will talk about her experiences in the industry and take snapshots of interested applicants on site. The open Casting Call & Conversation is not a competition, but an initiative to offer the Swiss market a slightly different point of contact, to provide information about the modeling profession, to discover talent and to provide long-term support. The Kinship supports with a focus on an international modeling career. Anyone who would like to get to know the model management and the world of models is welcome without prior registration.
