Translating goals into action in your money journey

Translating goals into action in your money journey

Goals help you to focus your energy and attention on things that are really important. Even if you believe firsthand that these goals are unachievable, We all can learn how to dream bigger. Visualise your goals as if you had already achieved them. Goals help set you on a journey, enables you to master challenges better and be more successful. Break them down into little, achievable steps.

Set yourself goals using the SMART method. The goals should be S-specific, M-measurable, A-attractive, R-realistic, and T-timebound. This ensures that they are goals that are actually achievable, because it would not be realistic if you wanted to run a marathon but had problems with your knee. But you could still put on your sports shoes and walk to the basement of your house.

Annual goals are an attractive goal because they are time-bound and can be small. It doesn't always have to be the big things that make us happy. It's best to write these goals down or create a vision board. This will help you visualise your goal much more clearly. Create a journal and record the path and progress towards your goals. This way, you won't lose track of what you have already done.

10 minutes of vitalization exercise every day might be enough to keep you focused. If you want to visualise your goals, it is best to set aside a period of 10 to 30 minutes in which you are completely relaxed and free from any distractions—in other words, even your smartphone is in silent mode. Now imagine the day on which you achieved your goal, how it feels, and where in your body you can feel it.

What it does to you and how proud or happy you are. Then imagine the path to success, the steps you took, the challenges you faced along the way, and where you reached your limits. Also, pay attention to sounds and colors. Paint these colours and sounds as rich, strong, and contrasting as possible. Then go back to the day of your success and relive it in your mind's eye. Then open your eyes and slowly return to today.

The more often you do this exercise, the better you will become. It's best to try it out right away!
