In 2020 Boesch Motorboote AG celebrate their 100th year of existence. On the occasion of this celebration, boat lovers can look forward to an exclusive special edition: with the limited "Century Edition", the company heralds the next centenary - once again setting an example of excellence.

A gold-painted V8 engine from Ilmor Marine and instruments designed by IWC Schaffhausen underline the sporty elegance of this classic. A further display of exclusivity lies in the Century Edition emblem and the numbered plaque. The boats are limited to 20 pieces and are exclusively manufactured to order, which means that every special request of each boat enthusiast can be taken into account.

100 years of company history

In 1920 boat builder Jakob Boesch laid the foundation stone for the family business. His passion for wooden boats is now lived in its fourth generation. Thus, Boesch has become the epitome of classical high-performance mahogany boats.

Technical Achievements

From sailing boats to motorboats and electric boats, which were already produced during the end of the 19th century, from repair work to one-off as well as series production, Boesch has been able to celebrate many achievements during its hundred-year history: Shortly before the beginning of the Second World War, Walter Boesch developed the first high-speed motorboats using the Boesch-Horizon-Gliding principle, which is still being applied today. Thanks to their excellent characteristics, Boesch motorboats are highly sought after by water skiers. They have been used as pulling boats in water skiing at World and European championships multiple times. In 1964, the Boesch layered construction method heralds a new era in boat building. In the 1980s, Boesch produces classic, high-performance and sports-grade mahogany boats. In 2005, the first Boesch Electric Powerboats with high engine power are launched. Boat culture in perfection is embodied by the flagship "970 St. Tropez" which becomes part of the Boesch fleet in 2009. The Boesch 860 is now being launched completely new to celebrate the anniversary. All Boesch boats have one thing in common: they impress with elegance and an extraordinary and sustainable construction.
