will gather in Madrid this coming Monday, November 2, for a special
workshop to examine how Privacy by Design - a concept developed by
Dr. Ann Cavoukian, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario,
Canada - can help to embed privacy into the design of technology,
business practices and infrastructure to protect personal freedoms in
their own countries.
Privacy by Design: The Definitive Workshop, a one-day event being
held at Madrid's Melia Castilla Hotel, is being hosted by
Commissioner Cavoukian and Yoram Hacohen, Head of the Israeli Law,
Information and Technology Authority.
Distinguished Commissioners speaking the event include: Peter
Hustinx, European Data Protection Supervisor; Peter Schaar, Federal
Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information -
