Haarlem / Netherlands, September 28, 2007 - LYCOS Europe N.V.
("LYCOS"), one of the leading European portal providers and
online advertisers, today signed through its subsidiary LYCOS
Europe GmbH an agreement with freenet AG about advertising
services for a one-year period, mainly for broadband customer
acquisition, and an agreement about licensing the white-label
solution LYCOS iQ for the freenet portal. This cooperation includes
additionally the transfer of all LYCOS ADSL customer relationships
in Germany to freenet.The total consideration to be received for the aforementioned agreements amounts to about EUR 1.9 million.
