Government Contracts

Wien - Kapsch TrafficCom has been informed by the Czech Ministry of Transport
that it does not consider the company's offer for design, build and operation of
the new country-wide tolling system as the cheapest. This comes somewhat
surprising as according to the tender documents a competitive dialogue should
have taken place with the bidders following the opening of the preliminary
financial quotes for the project. As this has not happened and for a number of
other reasons Kapsch TrafficCom evaluates legal steps against this decision of
the Ministry of Transport.
