Koblenz (Germany), August 25, 2008 - In today's meeting, the board of directors of CompuGROUP Holding AG has appointed Christian B. Teig (43) new CFO, effective immediately. Christian B. Teig will take over the tasks of former CFO Dr. Erik Massmann, whereas Dr. Erik Massmann will take the chair of CompuGROUP subsidiary vita-X AG.
Prior to his appointment, Christian Teig was CEO of Norwegian, stock-listed company Profdoc ASA. During the past few weeks, CompuGROUP has acquired 100 percent of Profdoc's shares. Christian Teig has managed Profdoc, which operates in the healthcare IT industry, for more than eight years.
Christian B. Teig received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California (Santa Barbara) in 1990 and his Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD (France) in 1995. Before Christian Teig started to work for Profdoc in 2000, he had worked in the technology field for Norwegian Norsk Data and as a business consultant for McKinsey & Company.
