PRESS RELEASE
CompuGROUP uses Medica 2007 for the Successful Expansion of Its Customer
BaseNovember 21, 2007: CompuGROUP Holding AG, a leading
European provider of eHealth solutions, is looking back on a very
successful Medica 2007: The manufacturer of information systems for
doctors was able to win more than 300 new customers during the world's
biggest healthcare fair in Düsseldorf. Moreover, many existing customers
took the opportunity to collect information on new versions of their
information systems for doctors or extensions for it.Compugroup's outstanding success at Medica is based on numerous novel
software releases, such as the MEDISTAR - Patient Terminal, which can help
cut back waiting time at doctors' offices and allows patients to call up
information and forms individually. TurboMed introduced the "Cockpit," the
first electronic "relay and information hub" for the doctor's office.
TurboMed Cockpit can be individually configured and lists all necessary
information a doctor or their assisting staff need at a glance. A
highlight that created a lot of interest - not only with ALBIS - is
quality management. Here a solution was introduced with the QM-Assist
product, which can be integrated harmoniously in the routines of every
doctor's practice. Likewise, solutions for larger medical institutions,
such as healthcare centers, were presented by CompuMED Praxiscomputer.
These solutions are based on the M1 product, among others, as are
DataVital's customized software solutions for radiology practices. At the center of customer interest at this year's Medica were innovations
for networking and communication between ambulatory and inpatient medical
institutions. Particularly the workflow-based online file Cordoba and its
seamless integration with the information systems MEDISTAR, Albis,
TurboMed, CompuMED and DataVital was of great interest to doctors'
networks.
"Indeed it is an unusual success to win so many new customers among
doctors in an almost mature market. The need for innovative software
products for doctors' networking and communication is constantly growing;
Medica 2007 proved this once more very clearly. Doctors in governmental
healthcare as well as hospitals have realized that the future of
healthcare lies in acting within a network and is based on the required
electronic workflow. Our great success at this fair confirms once more
that we offer a well-positioned product portfolio with our entire range of
appropriate products and services," emphasizes Uwe Eibich, one of
CompuGROUP Holding AG's directors.About CompuGROUP Holding AG
