Vienna, 22 October 2007 - A-TEC Industries AG (ISIN AT00000ATEC9) announces changes to the Management Board of Austrian Energy & Environment, the Group´s largest subsidiary. Jürgen Brandt, until now CFO of AE&E´s largest subsidiary Von Roll Inova, is to be appointed CFO of AE&E with effect from 1 November 2007. He succeeds Hannes Rosenthaler who is leaving the Company at the end of October after four successful years. At the same time it has been decided that Georg Gasteiger, at present Vice President of ALSTOM Group´s industrial segment, will join the Management Board with effect from 1 February 2008.

He draws on many years´ of experience as financial director of international industrial companies and has a wealth of plant engineering expertise. After studying industrial engineering at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Germany) Jürgen Brandt, 51, started his career in 1980 with a German boiler manufacturer, where in 1997 he was appointed to the board as chief financial officer. Other career highlights include working as CFO of ALSTOM Power´s boiler manufacture and environmental technology division and later as managing director of its industrial power plant business. He was also CFO of Foster Wheeler´s Power Group Europe. Since August 2006 Brandt has been part of the wider AE&E Group management team in his capacity as CFO of Switzerland´s Von Roll Inova.
After studying engineering at Vienna University of Technology Georg Gasteiger, 56, worked as assistant lecturer there before moving to Voest-Alpine AG in 1983, where he was a project manager. From 1987 he held various management positions with responsibility for boilermaking and power plants at SGP-AG, which would later become part of the AE&E Group. Gasteiger has worked for ALSTOM Group since 1994. He was chairman of the ALSTOM Power AG management board until May 2007, when he became vice president of ALSTOM Group´s industrial segment.
