Hamburg, February 23, 2007. The
Supervisory Board of Nordex AG appointed Bernard Schäferbarthold (36)
to the position of Chief Financial Officer effective April 1, 2007. 
Until now, CEO Thomas Richterich has additionally been acting as the 
Company’s CFO. "Given our Group’s strong growth, financial matters 
require the undivided attention of a separate member of the 
Management Board," explains Thomas Richterich. In the medium term, 
Nordex is planning to widen its sales by 50 - 60 percent per year 
particularly outside Germany.

After graduating with a degree in economics, Schäferbarthold, was an 
auditor and accountant at accounting company Warth & Klein from 1996 
until 2005. He worked for Nordex AG in this function from 2003. Most 
recently, he was deployed as team manager, in this capacity, and was 
materially involved in the reorganization of the Group’s accounting 
system. In June 2005, Schäferbarthold moved to Nordex AG, where he 
was placed in charge of treasury, accounting and fiscal.

The other members of Nordex AG’s Management Board are Thomas 
Richterich (CEO), Carsten Pedersen (COO Sales and Marketing) and Dr. 
Hansjörg Müller (COO Operations).
