"Software Made in Germany" (SMiG) quality seal by the Federal association of SME
IT service providers (BITMi) today at CeBIT. BITMi's SMiG initiative
demonstrates the German IT sector's high quality standards.
Candidates must meet intensive testing criteria to receive the quality seal
award: well-thought-out design, proven solutions, well-engineered production
processes, innovation, and competent customer service. In addition, both major
development steps in the production process and software quality control must be
carried out in Germany. The future compatibility of software is another
important criterion.
