Karlsruhe, November 13, 2009 - asknet AG,
which recently was named in the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu "Technology 
Fast 50" ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in 
Germany, has released its financial figures for the third quarter of 
2009. The company is a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for 
the global electronic software distribution (ESD) industry.
The asknet Group posted sales of 49.4 million euros in the first nine
months of the year. The Group's gross profits rose by 6 percent over 
the first 9 months of 2009 to 6.9 million euros; in the third quarter
of 2009 they were 11 percent higher than in the same quarter of the 
previous year, increasing to 2.4 million euros. The gross profit 
margin of the Group was 14 percent in the first nine months of the 
year. At -1.15 million euros, the Group´s net loss was significantly 
lower than in the previous year, when it totaled -2.42 million euros.
Despite difficult economic conditions, the Executive Board of asknet 
AG is confident that the Group´s strong performance will continue in 
the fourth quarter of 2009. "In addition to positive signs in our 
core area of business, outsourcing solutions for global electronic 
software distribution, we also anticipate a year-end seasonal upturn 
in business with our regular clientele, institutes of higher learning
and computer centers in the German-speaking countries," says Michael 
Konrad, CEO of asknet AG. "For this reason, we predict a further jump
in earnings in the fourth quarter of 2009."
