Haarlem / the Netherlands, May 4, 2006 - Lydia Lux-Schmitt, Chief
Financial Officer of LYCOS Europe N.V., will leave the company to
accept another position in the private sector. The company and Lydia
Lux-Schmitt will mutually agree on a departure date, the succession
will be announced at a later point in time. Until then Lydia
Lux-Schmitt will maintain her responsibilities unchanged.
