Zug, Switzerland, July 4, 2006 -- Fortune Management Inc., the private equity firm (ISIN: USU 026281027) listed on the General Standard segment of Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ticker symbol: FM11), today announced that Leslie A. Brun has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Brun, 53, was previously founder and Chairman of Hamilton Lane, a leading private equity manager and advisor. Besides his Board responsibilities at Fortune, Brun will take a leading role in developing private equity business and drive Fortune´s growth. Mr. Brun brings over 25 years in the Private Equity, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking arenas.
Brun is a long-time associate of Fortune's Chairman, Paul Bagley. In the mid- 1980's, Mr. Bagley headed E. F. Hutton's Corporate Finance Division where Mr. Brun was a Vice President. The two have collaborated on a number of ventures since that time.
Mr. Brun is a noted authority on private equity and a frequent speaker at private equity conferences worldwide. He sold his interests in Hamilton Lane earlier this year to an investment firm owned by Microsoft founder Bill Gates and now pursues several personal investment initiatives. Amongst others he currently holds investments in automobile dealerships and in Philadelphia Media Holdings, publisher of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News.
Brun also sits on the Boards of Directors of ADP Inc. (NYSE:ADP), Opus Entertainment, The University at Buffalo Foundation and is a Trustee of The Episcopal Academy in Merion, PA. He is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
