Peter Lyne Appointed Vice President and Managing Director EMEA for Somera Communications

(Nasdaq: SMRA), a global provider of telecom equipment lifecycle management services, today announced that Peter Lyne has joined the company as Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA (Europe Middle East, and Africa) operations. Mr. Lyne will be based at Somera's EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.

Prior to this, Lyne served as a Vice President at Nortel Networks GPS EMEA, where he was responsible for the Global Cable & Wireless Account. Lyne has also served as a Managing Director of Bell Cablemedia South and for Bell Cablemedia East Anglia. He has also held senior sales positions with ICL and STC Submarine Systems.
