Boeing and Airbus Join Forces With Common Requirements for Future Suppliers at Aviation Week's MRO Europe

The conference will feature an exclusive joint session conducted by Airbus and Boeing, where they will discuss common requirements for sharing reliability and maintenance data using the Spec-2000 Chapter 11 standards.     Designed to help airlines become more cost effective in MRO, this new system establishes common requirements throughout the maintenance industry, contains information on the reliability of parts and aids in the future design of aircraft. A joint creation by Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and Bombardier, this special session has been added to the MRO Europe Conference agenda at the request of the two largest OEMs in world.
