Ross River Minerals Inc

El Pulpo - 2005 Exploration Program Update

Vancouver, Canada (ots/PRNewswire)

Ross River Minerals Inc.
(TSX-V: RRM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has
received results for 1,084 lithogeochemical samples from the El Pulpo
Project in Sinaloa, Mexico. Sampling and mapping was conducted
between March and June 2005 in the area between the Langosta and
Cerro Colorado copper porphyry prospects and eastward into a
little-explored area named Minitas (see press releases dated April 25
and May 9, 2005).
One hundred and one (101) samples taken in the Langosta area in
March of 2005 contained copper values ranging from 34 ppm Cu to
greater than 10,000 ppm Cu (approximately 1%). Eleven samples
contained greater than 5,000 ppm Cu. Molybdenum analyses ranged from
0.64 ppm Mo to 241.51 ppm Mo. Silver analyses ranged from 96 ppb Ag
to greater than 100,000 ppb Ag. Forty samples contained greater than
10,000 ppb Ag, approximately 10 grams per tonne. Gold analytical
results ranged from 0.2 ppb Au to 9,896 ppb Au. Eight samples
exceeded 1,000 ppb Au, approximately one gram per tonne.
Analyses have been received for 113 samples taken from the Cerro
Colorado area. Six samples exceeded the detection limit of 10,000 ppm
Cu and an additional eight samples exceeded 5,000 ppm Cu. Analytical
results ranged from 24.69 ppm Cu to greater than 10,000 ppm Cu.
Molybdenum analyses ranged from 1.09 ppm Mo to more than the
detection limit of 2,000 ppm Mo. Four samples contained more than 500
ppm Mo, including the one sample that exceeded the detection limit.
Two samples exceeded the detection limit for silver of 100,000 ppb
Ag, and values ranged from 78 ppb Ag to greater than 100,000 ppb Ag.
Thirty six samples, including two that exceeded the detection limit,
contained greater than 10,000 ppb Ag. Gold analyses ranged from 1.3
ppb Au to 19,773 ppb Au. Nine samples contained greater than 1,000
ppb Au.
Analyses were conducted by Acme Laboratories in Vancouver BC. All
samples exceeding the detection limit of the analytical technique
will be reanalysed by techniques appropriate to their higher grades.
Results for the Minitas, Jocquistes and Cetolla prospects will be
reported in due course. James R. Reeves P.Geo was the qualified
person supervising the exploration program.

New Porphyry Discovery at El Pulpo

Vancouver, Canada (ots/PRNewswire) - Ross River Minerals Inc.
