Credit line extended by EUR 5 million (E)

Because of the prosperous business development in 2003/2004 the Dortmunder Volksbank eG, the principal banker of e-m-s new media AG (SIN 521280/ISIN DE0005212807), has granted the company an additional long-term investment loan of EUR 5 million. This loan will be used to finance new film rights. In addition the previously short-term overdraft facility of EUR 3.5 million was converted to a long-term credit line.

With the investment loan, the own cash-flow and the two recently executed capital increases e-m-s will not only be in the position to realize the forecasted business volume in 2004, but also to set now the course for further growth in 2005. The e-m-s expects sales revenues in the division Home Entertainment of EUR 19 million for 2004 and EUR 25 million for 2005. Having already realized sales in the division Home-Entertainment of EUR 1.53 million (previous year: EUR 0.82 million) in January 2004, the company continued to increase its sales and realized a record in sales amounting to EUR 1.72 million (previous year: EUR 1.33 million) in February 2004.
