Hamburg. Pandatel Group (ISIN DE0006916307) posted worldwide sales (preliminary figure) of EUR 5.94m (PY: EUR 7.4m) in the first half of the current fiscal year. On the basis of this figure, the executive board adjusted its sales forecast for 2005 and now expects to achieve sales of EUR 12-15m during the current fiscal year. The EBIT at the reporting date (June 30, 2005) equaled to EUR -7.1m versus EUR -5.5m for the same period the year before, which corresponds to a difference of -29%. Net loss for the period was EUR -6.9m (PY: EUR -5.3m). Part of this is due to the depreciation of goodwill for Lightmaze Solutions AG, totaling EUR 2.2m, which is due to the fact that the project business based on its YUMIX products developed more slowly than previously estimated. Pandatel AG's equity-to-assets ratio continues to be high and stood at 82% (PY: 88%) on the cut-off date. Liquidity and cash flow values on the cut-off date were EUR 11.4m (PY: EUR 17.6m) and EUR -3.6m (PY: EUR -4.6m), respectively. Pandatel booked EUR 5.8m EUR (PY: EUR 7.0m) in incoming sales orders during the first six months and EUR 1.2m (PY: EUR 1.5m) in outstanding orders as of June 30, 2005.
