Dr Claudine Blaser Egger (49) will become a new member of the Helsana Executive Board on 1 June 2020. As part of the new corporate strategy, she will be responsible for the new "Health" business division.

Dr Claudine Blaser Egger will become a new member of the Helsana Insurance Company Ltd Executive Board on 1 June 2020. In her new function, she will assume responsibility for the "Health" business division, which has been newly created as part of the new 2020+ corporate strategy. With the new strategy, Helsana will in future play a greater role in shaping the Swiss healthcare system and offer insured persons advisory and coordination services as well as strengthen its cooperation with service providers and other players in the healthcare sector for the benefit of its customers.

Claudine Blaser Egger completed her PhD in Biology and Immunology at ETH Zurich and also gained a Master's in Business Administration from the same institution. Most recently, the married mother of three worked as CEO of Argomed Ärzte AG - a leading competence and service company for integrated care in the Swiss healthcare system. Further milestones in her professional career have included collaborating in the establishment of Cytos Biotechnologie AG and serving as Managing Director of the life-science research platform ETH Phenomics Center.
